Honest caveat: Korean Air’s Taipei-Seoul on A350-900 is a genuine product upgrade (improved cabin, newer aircraft) — but the ‘NT$7,300 round trip’ summer pricing reflects specific 2024 promo windows. By 2026 summer Taipei-Seoul on Korean Air typically runs NT$11,000-14,500 depending on travel dates and class. The strategic insight (A350-900 vs older fleet matters for long-haul comfort) is durable; specific NT$ amounts are launch-era references.

The Korean Air A350 booking mistake I made on a 2024 Seoul trip: I’d booked Korean Air Taipei-Seoul at NT$7,800 specifically for the A350-900 upgrade — saw the seat map showing newer cabin, lay-flat business option, premium economy availability. What I missed: my booking was on a ‘flexible date’ fare class that defaulted to whichever aircraft Korean Air had assigned the day of departure. They swapped my A350 to a 737-800 (older fleet) 48 hours before departure. The booking was honored at the same price, but I lost the A350 cabin experience I’d specifically chosen the airline for. The fix: aircraft-specific booking requires fare classes that lock equipment, not just dates. Premium economy class typically locks aircraft; saver economy doesn’t.

Korean Air’s Taipei-Seoul round-trip promotional tickets have dropped to just 7,300 NTD, with plenty of availability for summer months May-August. This price is absolutely unbeatable! We saw these low fares last month, but summer inventory was limited. This time they’ve released significant capacity with 20kg checked baggage and in-flight meals included—the value is insane. During the same period, Scoot’s cheapest option is 6,000 NTD without baggage, and Tiger Air is even charging 7,000 NTD. With Korean Air’s offer, budget airlines can’t compete. The only minor downside is the outbound flight departs late evening, but starting March 30th, they’re operating the brand-new A350-900 aircraft, giving you the chance to experience next-gen comfort. Grab these tickets to fly to Seoul this summer, enjoy the warm weather, eat fried chicken, and explore the night markets!

Seoul’s summer temperatures range from 20-33°C in May-August. Spending time by the Han River and shopping at Myeongdong is incredibly chill. Your 20kg baggage allowance is perfect for packing snacks and sheet masks. These tickets go fast—we recommend booking through Korean Air’s official website or Trip.com!

⚠️ Who shouldn’t book Korean Air Taipei-Seoul for the A350 specifically

1. Travelers booking saver economy on flexible dates. Saver fare classes don’t lock equipment. Better fit if A350 matters: pay NT$1,500-2,500 more for premium economy or business class with locked equipment.

2. Travelers connecting onward from ICN (Asia-Europe / North America). Korean Air’s ICN-USA / ICN-Europe routes use 777-300ER or A380; the Taipei-Seoul A350 doesn’t carry through to onward connections. Better fit: focus on the long-haul leg’s aircraft, not the short Asian short-haul.

3. Travelers prioritizing in-flight WiFi. Korean Air’s A350-900 doesn’t yet have full WiFi rollout on all aircraft (as of 2026). If WiFi matters, verify the specific aircraft tail number’s WiFi status before booking.
