UA KHH is valuable for the direct NRT routing from South Taiwan, but it’s a route, not a hub experience.

The connection time I misjudged: I booked a 55-minute layover in Hong Kong, which looked fine on paper. I’d never connected through HKG before. Terminal transfer time if you’re on a different pier is 30–45 minutes even with no crowds. 2. United’s fifth freedom rights
