Most travel guides are written by outsiders looking in. This one is written from the inside out.
Every insight in this guide comes from Chinese or Japanese-language sources — local apps, review platforms, forums, and communities that English travelers can’t access. The restaurant that only locals know about. The temple that’s ‘closed for tourists’ but isn’t. The train line that cuts your commute in half but never appears in English guides.
One traveler used this guide in Tokyo and found a standing ramen bar with no English menu that had been recommended 4,000 times on a Japanese local app. Zero tourists. Best ramen of his life. He said: ‘This was the whole trip. I’d have never found it otherwise.’
What’s inside:
- 🇯🇵 Japan chapter — local-only restaurants, hidden shrines, the apps Japanese travelers use
- 🇰🇷 Korea chapter — where Koreans actually eat, neighborhoods tourists don’t go
- 🇹🇭 Southeast Asia chapter — Chinese traveler knowledge for Thailand, Bali, Vietnam
- 📱 Local apps guide — how to use Tabelog, Kakao Maps, and LINE Travel without speaking the language
🛡️ Use this guide and don’t discover something you’d have missed without it → full refund.

之前在理智派看到有人介紹這本《Untranslatable Asia — The Insider Guide That Only Exists in Chinese and Japanese》,說裡面有很多在地的隱藏景點和文化故事,我就決定買來參考計畫行程。
